![]() donuts. doughnuts. 'From their early days feeding World War I soldiers to Homer Simpson’s befuddled mug chomping a pink frosted on the big screen, the doughnut has long been an integral piece of American culture. And now with the Atkins Diet obsession behind us, doughnuts are more popular than ever. Classic mom-and-pop shops continue to thrive while a slew of adventuresome bakers are pushing doughnuts in a sophisticated new direction. But no amount of confectionary prowess can hide the fried, sugary, down-to-earth charm that makes the doughnut the ultimate comfort food.' Topped with a maple glaze or rolled in sugar and now, with rainbow coloured designs, chocolate coated, a thousand and one patterns, the appeal of fresh doughnuts is difficult to resist. and so indeed. the sugar rush :) the fluffiness of the bread. doughnut fanatic. heh. yeah. randomness i had in there. just read abt some ode to doughnuts. the history of doughnuts. wasnt really productive today. gotta make sure i have those formulas at my fingertips :) was quite pissed off just now. sigh. broke one small fragile sauce plate and got so much from you. you placed it on such dangerous place. zzz. one wrong move and the rest go tumbling down. just like dominos. lazy to rant here anymore. hastily wrote them on the piece of paper. crush them up. throw it away. it wont change the fact on what you;ve done anyways. just pray and hope you would be nicer in that sense. sigh. critical,in all sense... that is only one point. hardly ever praising. that's how typical chinese mothers are. aint that a stereotype? but it seems so. that's how the 4 mothers frm thebook the joy luck club are protrayed too. and when i grow up. i hope i wont be like that. shant be like you in that sense of way. i hope you be less physical as well too. ia m not an animal for goodness sake. |
